Interim / final report

The Principal Investigator must send to WELBIO a brief bi-annual interim report as indicated in the regulations framing the WELBIO-funded research programmes.

Deadlines

• Interim report (administrative) : Reports due on September 15th and March 15th* 
• Final report (administrative and scientific): Reports due on 15th March* following the end of the research grant agreement
• *Or the next working day, if the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday.

Grant renewal

The Principal Investigator who received WELBIO funding for the first two years (2011-2013) of his/her four-year research programme, is eligible for submitting a research grant renewal application for the next 2-year period (2013-2015).

Deadline

• 17th September 2012

Methods and selection procedures

• The selection is made in several steps following criteria found in the evaluation procedure for renewal applications and is under the responsibility of the Scientific Council. It results in a priority order, which is submitted to the Governing Board for funding decision.
