Miikka Vikkula and Laurence Boon, recipients of the 2013 Prize for Clinical Research from the InBev-Baillet Latour Foundation

17/04/2013 – Miikka Vikkula (WELBIO investigator at the Catholic University of Louvain - UCML) and Laurence Boon (Clinique universitaires Saint-Luc) received this prestigious prize in recognition for their scientific research in vascular anomalies and lymphedema. Vascular anomalies are localized defects of vascular and/or lymphatic vessels with various presentations. Up to 10% of the population is affected, mostly due to the commonness of infantile hemangioma.  Read more...
